INTRODUCING THE BLACKPRINT
Get ready for our Black History Month Events taking place all month long!
This year’s theme is Afro-Futurism.
Afro-futurism is a cultural movement that aims to reclaim and redefine the narratives surrounding black identity through the blending of traditional African culture, history and spirituality with futuristic/sci-fi elements. It revisits historical events from a different perspective, challenging dominant narratives and empowering marginalized voices.

Week 1
The Takeoff

Hair Care Workshop

Wished you knew how to braid and cornrow your own hair? Look no further‼️ The event will also focus on fostering meaningful conversations surrounding the history of Black hair, its beauty and its challenges within the western world.

Black Professionals Networking Event

In collaboration with our amazing Black clubs, African Impact Initiatives, Future Black Physicians, Black students in Business and African Students Association get ready to be paired with Black Professionals from your field of interest
Say goodbye to the daunting, typical networking events you are used to attending. On this day, Black students and professionals will partake in interactive activities that will prompt them to find the right mentor-mentee match!

Black History Month Gala
