Hi, my name is Martine and I am a 4th year student doing a double major in French and Psychology, with a minor in English.  After 2 years of Presidency in Varsity Christian Fellowship, I decided to take a bigger step and run for SCSU Humanities director, to make a difference in the lives of all students in another environment.  I want to bring continual integrity to the SCSU and advocate for change. As a firm believer in transparent, honest leadership, I will be here for you if you have any questions or concerns.  I will do my best to make UTSC better as I work with the other SCSU board of directors, the VPs, and the President. Let's unite together for the best UTSC school year ever!

I look forward to the upcoming year and hope to see you all at our future events! “If A is success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is never keeping your mouth shut.”

I am as approachable as they come, and would love to see and hear from you all. When I'm not focused on my SCSU and academic responsibilities, I enjoy reading, playing baseball, and learning everything I can about the world around me. Here's to an amazing 2009-2010. Godspeed.

Tharsini Sivananthajothy - Biological Sciences Director (Chair of the Standing Committee on Campus Life)

Hi everyone, my name is Tharsini Sivananthajothy and I'm your Biological Sciences Director for the 09/10 year. I am heading into my second year as a Co-op Specialist in Cell and Molecular Biology. The welcoming and approachable nature of the SCSU, as well as the motivation to be part of the decision making process regarding students and the campus were key reasons for taking on the responsibility as director. The SCSU team has a lot of great ideas this year and I'd like to push forth these ideas into results. As students, I encourage you to join standing committees and voice your opinions and ideas to us, the largest governing body on campus.  As director, it is my duty to listen to your concerns, bring them to the Board and let them be heard, so feel free to approach me whenever you see me (since I practically live at UTSC) and let your concerns be heard. Best of luck for the upcoming school year and hope to see you around campus. Till then, take care. :)

Katrina Troung - Physical and Environmental Sciences Director

Regardless of where you may find her, don't be afraid to approach her with any concerns, questions, or a simple helloooo!

Hello everyone! My name is Anjum Sultana, and as your newly elected first year director, it is my responsibility to voice the ideas and concerns of the student body. This may be my first year getting involved with the SCSU, but what I may lack in experience, I more than make up for it in dedication and passion. Working with the SCSU’s executives as well as the other directors on the board, I want to enact changes that will help foster a more vibrant, energetic and connected campus. UTSC is great but it has the potential to be so much more and I hope that with all of us working together we can make that vision a reality.
