The SCSU, through levies collected from all full-time UTSC students, is committed to providing limited financial assistance to UTSC students who demonstrate significant financial strain when purchasing course materials or covering daycare expenses, and sets aside a total of $12,000 out of its annual budget to fund this assistance. Students who are interested in receiving either course material or daycare assistance must complete an application form and provide supporting documentation where applicable.All applications are reviewed by a committee who is given the responsibility to award these bursaries to students who demonstrate the greatest financial need.
