Overall, students found Professor McCrindle to be an enthusiastic lecturer, communicating the course goals very effectively. They appreciated her availability and approachability to answer questions in class and in office hours. Some thought that Professor McCrindle should grant the class a break in the middle of the two-hour lecture to allow the students to digest the informaiton. One suggestion students have is to use a newer textbook, as the current one is outdated.

Students felt that the class size was a bit too large for this type of class and as a result, they felt that they did not get enough time to practice their conversation. The professor was very clear in her explanations and was very positive. Students would have loved more one on one learning.

Professor McCrindle was well regarded by students, who focused on her professionalism and ability in the classroom. A constant concern among students, almost universally repeated, was the cost of the course text at around $150. Many felt that was excessive for the amount of use they got out of the text.
