Students enjoyed having Professor Nikkila as an instructor. They enjoyed her humour and her good teaching styles. Students found her lectures to be fun and thought that she was always able to convey concepts clearly as well as make the material more interesting when teaching. Many students commented that Middlemarch was a difficult read and was perhaps too difficult for a B-level course. They also suggest that a clear evaluation of how assignments are graded and what is expected should be provided as many students did not understand why they received their given grades.
