Students found Professor Mortensen to be a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic person who was able to convey the material in a clear and effective manner. Students also enjoyed how the professor kept the class engaged through the lectures. Students did feel that there was too much material covered in a lecture. Overall, the course was thought to be very interesting.

Students felt that Professor Mortensen was very helpful, organized and enthusiastic. She made the class very interesting and her marking scheme was very fair. The material was taught thoroughly and effectively. However, some students would have appreciated it had the professor posted lecture slides prior to class. They also felt that Professor Mortensen spoke too quickly and wished they had had a midterm in this course. Nonetheless, students felt that this professor was very approachable and passionate about the course material.
