Overall, students found Professor Al-Kasey’s lecturing style to be excellent and enthusiastic when it came to the subject matter, and thus found the course to be quite enjoyable. They appreciated her use of examples and visuals, as well as the quizzes given for each chapter. One concern students had was about the pace of the course and the course length. Some found that it was too much material to cover in the six week period, and thus was a little tiring and tough to keep up sometimes. As a result, one suggestion students have for Professor Al-Kasey is to take the short time into account and make the final exam a little easier.

Overall, students enjoyed Professor Al-Kasey’s lecturing style, incorporating different types of media in her teaching. However, some students felt that she spoke a little fast at times, and suggest that she slow down when speaking so that students could grasp the material a little more. Most students found the class to be a very beneficial introductory Spanish course.

The class felt that Professor Al-Kasey was an excellent instructor who injected enthusiasm in her lectures. They appreciated her incorporation of other language aids to assist in learning the language, and also valued her approachability. However, some students felt that some of the material felt rushed towards the end of the course. One suggestion students had for Professor Al-Kasey was to incorporate more oral exercises during class.

Overall, students felt that Professor Al-Kasey was an enthusiastic instructor who was passionate about the subject she taught. However, some students were dissatisfied with the textbook and felt that it was disorganized and inadequately formatted. Other students felt that they were not prepared to for the jump from introductory classes to intermediate classes. One idea suggested for Professor Al-Kasey was to incorporate the textbook’s practice workbook and audio discs in class.

Overall, students found Professor Al-Kasey to be an excellent and passionate lecturer, which was reflective of the deep knowledge of the language she possesses. They appreciated the amount of Spanish culture she introduced them to. However, some students were unsure of what was required of them on assignments, and would have appreciated a marking scheme or rubric. One suggestion students have for Professor Al-Kasey is to allow movies shown to be available at the campus library.

Student comments regarding Professor Al-Kasey’s instructorship were mixed. Many found her to be very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Spanish. However, some students felt that course was slightly disorganized, lacking definition and direction. One suggestion students have for Professor Al-Kasey was to provide more conversation practice in order to get used to speaking Spanish in everyday situations.
