Students repeat comments from other sections of this course regarding a desire for more numerical examples in class and a few felt the midterm was either excessively difficult or else not representative of material covered in class. A few suggest that the grading scheme (two tests worth 50% each) was not appropriate. The difficulty of learning three hours at a stretch was referenced again.

Students in this course were positive about Professor Parkinson's classroom style and instruction but were critical of the course TA and felt the tutorials were not necessarily useful. Quite a few students felt that the distribution of the final grade, with 50% resting with a midterm and 50% with a final was not reasonable and did not properly reflect students' abilities.
