Most students felt that Professor Jayman was knowledgeable in his field and used a variety of examples, including some from personal experience to clarify concepts. Students found the readings to be quite valuable, which helped them get through some of the more dense material. However, students felt that there was a lack of communication between the T.A. and Professor Jayman, expressing the need for sharper organization. Some students felt that the lecture would have been livelier if Professor Jaymen did not read off the slides as often.

The majority of students felt that Professor Jayman was an excellent professor; some even suggest he be offered a tenure position. Students found the material interesting and perceived Professor Jayman as enthusiastic and dedicated to helping students do well in his class. A few students felt that the workload was a bit much and classes would have been more efficient if Professor Jayman were to digress less when providing examples.
