Student feedback on this course focused on suggestions to improve the lecture format and while recommendations differ there was widespread agreement that something was lacking. Students suggested everything from more detailed slides to more examples to notes available before class to longer tutorials. Students did not find particular fault with Professor Enright or his dedication as an instructor they just had trouble responding to his lectures.

The lectures in this course were theoretical in nature and had concepts that were hard to grasp. The students found that more examples were necessary especially the numerical kind. It is suggested that one grabs a copy of the 2001-2002 anti-calendar for a review of how Professor Pancer taught the course.

The students found the course material to be extremely challenging. They felt that the topics were only vaguely discussed in lectures by Professor Enright and have recommended more detailed examples to be used to demonstrate concepts. One student also suggested a clear marking scheme should be provided for the assignments as well as the midterm.
