Students note that Professor Niemeier is clearly a motivated and conscientious instructor but doesn't do enough to supplement the text in class or to hold attention during his lectures. Most students appreciated the in-class experiments as tangibly new material not drawn directly from the text though some found it hard to concentrate even on the experiments. Students credit Professor Niemeier as being fair in grading and approachable.

Most students in this course seemed to appreciate the convenience of the on-line section, though some also noted there was considerable overlap between the lectures and text and found them redundant. A few students noted considerable shared content between this course and PSYB07 and suggested it is beneficial to take them together if possible. Although some students felt their attention was not held significantly, almost all agree Professor Niemeier is kind and sincere as an instructor.
