Several students commented that Mr. Lorincz is a very nice and approachable lecturer, who showed interest in the material and an eagerness to teach. There is disagreement about the effectiveness of the lectures to go beyond the level of, or explain more clearly than, the suggested textbook readings. Many complained that the laboratories were poorly connected with the material covered in lecture, and that the marking of the 'labs' was not clearly laid out, and the demonstrators of the laboratory sessions were unprepared to teach or explain the details.
