Professor Kapac is enthusiastic and clear in explaining material. Students found the course material to be in interesting and thought-provoking. He encouraged critical thinking about the student's own culture as well as international cultures, making one think outside of the North Western box. Many did not find the tutorials useful and felt more assignments throughout the year would enhance course understanding, instead of two major essays. Overall, this was an interesting course and a great professor.

Professor Kapac is very supportive, flexible, and helpful. Many students enjoyed working on their projects. In general, students felt well-prepared for assignments, projects, and other evaluations because the professor is well-organized and clear with respect to what he expects from his students. It is suggested that this course be a full-year course since there is a lot of material covered. Also, some felt that there was too much of a time constraint on the final project. Overall, this was a great professor and a great course.
