Students found Pancer to be a very good instructor. He had good explanations and was easy to understand. His lecture notes were very helpful. However, students found the large size of the class resulted in talking, that he was unwilling to address. Students with absolutely no programming experience found assignments very challenging. Students wished for more time with the TA's and 24 hours access to the computer lab.

This was the last year that this course was offered. Students found that Professor Pancer had a great sense of humour and was very organized. Pancer was also found to be a slow marker for this course. This course had a lot of programming involved which made it fairly difficult.

Students felt Pancer was a very good instructor. However, more examples were needed in class. Due to difficult material, better TA's were requested for this course. Most students found the textbook useless. Tests marks need to get back to students quicker, especially around the time of the drop date.
