Majority of the students felt that the course material was relatively hard, and that there was too much in one course. Students suggested that solutions to all questions be posted, questions of varying difficulty be assigned, and the professor should use the microphone to communicate better.

Students found that Professor Friendlander's lectures conformed closely to the text but rather than finding this repetitive most comment it was helpful and brought the material into sharper focus and they appreciated this approach. A few complaints relate to Professor Friedlander's unwillingness to provide opportunities for re-grading assignments.

Reviews for Professor Friedlander were relatively poor. Students felt that although the professor was intelligent and knew the course material well, he performed poorly as an instructor. Professor Friedlander was not very helpful outside of class and with in-class questions overall, and does not answer questions effectively.
