Overall, students found Professor Bender to be an excellent instructor who was very enthusiastic about the course material. They appreciated his humour, which made the lecture topics very interesting, and thus motivated them to learn the material. One suggestion students have for Professor Bender is to speak a little slower during lectures.

Students felt that the class was very interesting, and students especially enjoyed the cooking demonstrations. Some students did note that there were a lot of readings which were uninteresting and irrelevant. As well, students have stated that it would be helpful to post guidelines on what students needed to do for the essays and assignments, since the students werenít sure what to expect.
