Students found that the professor performed in an excellent manner during lectures. Students found that she was not good during individual help sessions. Students quickly realized that this professor is not one to stand for any form of noise during lectures. She did provide humorous comics during lectures that students found enjoyable and an added bonus to her teaching style.

Overall, students thought that Professor Verner was an excellent instructor and many students were very fond of her as she had excellent teaching skills. They appreciated her articulate lecturing style and found many of the topics she lectured about memorable as she showed enthusiasm for the material. Although some students thought she went through the course material quickly, they found her examples to be very helpful and useful for the exam.

They also suggested that he lecture more clearly and audibly as there were concepts in the course that were not easily understood. There was an overwhelming positive response towards Professor Vernerís course. Students found her to be an amazing teacher, whose enthusiasm about the material and genuine care for students, allowed them to succeed. They found her to be helpful, approachable and accessible to answer student questions. Students particularly liked her method of communicating ideas as well as the interactive nature of her lectures.

However, her pace was an issue for many students and made it hard for them to understand the concepts. Overall, she is a very enthusiastic, approachable and a helpful teacher. Many had suggestions for tutorials to be more focused on explanation and discussion of concepts, students also wanted tutorials to be longer to get the maximum help. All of the respondents claimed Professor Verner was one of the best professors they had ever come across; they unanimously agreed that she enthusiastically communicated the rather difficult course material in a very organized and effective manner. Further, they appreciated her genuine willingness to help students succeed by providing additional assistance outside of classroom. Nonetheless, most students were dissatisfied with the lab component of the course; some felt that a clearer marking scheme and greater connection with the lecture material would have been helpful.

In addition, students cited the professor's enthusiasm and incorporation of questions in lectures quite helpful. Problems were noted with respect to size and significance of tutorials. Her enthusiasm for teaching shone through and resulted in making the difficult material understandable. Many students found her exams to be fair and her style of teaching clear and informative. A few felt that the Teaching Assistants could be more helpful and more examples in class would be nice.

Students in this class felt it helped in their understanding of chemistry, particular building on material they may not have understood clearly in the first term. They appreciated Professor Verner's flexibility and willingness to adapt around the best ways of reaching the class and holding their attention. Several noted dissatisfaction with the lab component of this class and as students considered the grading it in the labs to be arbitrary and unfair, it's no wonder several also thought it was worth too much.
