Many students in this class commented Professor Cummings on a fantastic job teaching this course. Students found her to passionate about the topics and in turn, was able to motivate students to participate in thought-provoking discussions. Students really liked her skills and methods in conveying different themes, such as using contemporary examples. Some students found that the weekly reading responses helped them to think and understand readings better, although a few felt it was difficult to juggle the responses with the essay.
