Professor Bassili was described as an excellent professor, who made the lectures very interesting and enjoyable. The students benefited from his examples, especially the videos, to clarify the course content. He had clear expectations from students and was very enthusiastic about the course. The course itself was described as fascinating and the fact that it had an online portion made it more convenient. Some students, however, felt that the discussion forum was not an accurate way of evaluation and marks should not have been associated with the replies. Overall, students expressed content with the course and would happily take more courses with Professor Bassili.

Students enjoy Professor Bassili's engagement and presence in this course. Few students note issues or reactions pertaining explicitly to the on-line nature of this course and reactions are very similar to the other live section, which suggests that the format was successful in this case at capturing an experience similar to the live version. Some students here comment on the discussion forum as well, and the consensus seems to be that it's a good idea but hampered by the large size of the class, which creates too great a volume of discussion to follow.
