Students appreciated the way the class was taught as an open discussion, but found the material to be uninteresting. The felt the way the professor taught was unbalanced with regards to the difficulty of the actual material. Students would have liked for the professor to use more contemporary materials, and stated that lecture notes posted online would have been much more helpful.

Students were mixed on the approach Professor Lange took to the lecture material with some enjoying while others found it disorganized. Enjoyment of the class was hurt by the fact that Professor Lange was at many times speaking softly to the point where students couldn't hear what the Professor was saying. Some students felt that the lack of an essay made the exam weightings to heavy.
