Professor Andrade was found to be very knowledgeable and had an energetic personality when she taught the course. Students were thankful for her usage of real life examples and were pleased with the gratuitous amounts of problem sets. Students also appreciated her clear, concise and structured teaching style. Most unanimously agreed that the online component of the lectures was very helpful and is a must-have component. A minor suggestion students had was for Dr. Andrade to slow down when speaking.

Students in this course reacted very well to Professor Andrade personally, and felt that she is a very enthusiastic and engaged professor with a genuine interest in educating. Some students felt that her lectures proceeded too fast to take notes and that they became lost. Others disliked the group poster project, and felt that it was an unwelcome complication to a course that already had enough of a workload.

Students describe this course as extremely interesting but challenging due to its highly theoretical nature. Many benefited from the concrete research examples Professor Andrade provided in class to supplement the theory and concepts. They unanimously describe Professor Andrade as a helpful, informative, engaging and highly entertaining instructor. Although the evaluations were determined to be difficult, the students appreciated that they tested their knowledge and comprehension as opposed to their ability to memorize. They also enjoyed the assignment but would prefer it to be an individual project instead of a group effort. Many students also enjoyed attending lectures even though they were recorded due to the humorous and structured manner in which the material was presented.
