Students were happy with Professor Wei's instruction and felt motivated by his example and enthusiasm. They report that tested material was almost exclusively from lectures and as a result some question why there should be a textbook at all but most students were happy with focusing testing in this way. A few complain that Professor Wei's voice trailed off at times and they had trouble hearing him.

Students enjoyed Professor Wei's lecture style and his approach to this course and most were very enthusiastic but there were several suggestions for improvement. Some felt assignments represented too much work for too few grades and suggested they should either involve less work or else should be worth more. They also requested that problems covered in class be more difficult to reflect the challenge of tested material and to spend more time on such work. A few add that his lectures are too quick. But on the whole students were still very happy with this course.
