Students had a variety of concerns about this course. Most had no complaints regarding Professor James herself, though a few report she was too fast at times. Several students note the assignments given were frequently long and difficulty, though others appreciate their value. Many students commented on their tutorials and their TAs, apparently both very important to success in this course, and the quality seemed uneven. Some students were very pleased with their tutorials while others, probably in different sections, report they were unproductive and not helpful.

However, the class itself was relatively difficult (as reflected by the low midterm average) and some suggested more emphasis on testable material in class.
