Students appreciate Professor Hoogstraten and one student, who has had classes with her for several years, noted that elements she previously disliked from earlier courses have begun to come together now. Students report they felt challenged but constructively so, and 'tough but fair' would probably be a good summary of their reactions to this course and instructor.
