The general consensus is that Professor Harney is enthusiastic and passionate about what she teaches. However, many students felt that more than one course is necessary to develop a thorough understanding of the subject matter. Another concern was that there wasn't enough encouragement of class participation and that the readings, albeit extremely interesting, were quite lengthy.
