Professor Ilie was seen as a very enthusiastic and passionate instructor, who had a very strong grip in the material that she taught, hence making class discussions very engaging and interesting. Students were also delighted with the TA Val, who was there to help and also evaluated the quizzes fairly. One suggestion that a number of students pointed out was to make the lecture slides a bit less wordy and also to make more available office hours for the students for course help. The exams were fair overall, but a number of students found one question (creating culture) difficult and not of relevance to the course material. Overall, Professor Ilie was a delight to the students as they liked her wonderful personality and the fact that she communicated the ideas and concepts clearly through excellent examples.
