The response to both the professor and the course were overwhelmingly positive; several students look forward to taking more personality courses, and would highly recommend them to their peers. Professor Fournier was a great instructor, who was obviously passionate about the subject matter, and truly inspired students. His humor, intelligence and enthusiasm made students look forward to the 3-hour lecture, and kept them interested throughout. Some students felt that slowing down the rate of lecture would be beneficial. While most students found the exams fair, they felt that having assignments would have been helpful. Some felt that the readings are heavy.

Students in this course were very pleased with Professor Fournier, as a new professor to UTSC who adapted very quickly and made an impression on his students. Some students were concerned with the total volume of reading required and others requested that lecture notes be posted sooner before each lecture, but most agreed that Professor Fournier is a very effective lecturer who holds students' interest and keeps the material fresh.
