Students who took this course enjoyed the material, and found the methods of evaluation to be varied and fair. Professor Rena-Helms Park was overall a very good instructor, as she engaged the class, and was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her field. Some felt that the lectures could use more structure. Otherwise, Professor Park was approachable, helpful and endeavored to ensure that students understood the concepts being taught.

The consensus is that Professor Helms-Park is benevolent, enthusiastic and approachable. She really cares for her students and evokes both interest and class discussion. On the other hand, students felt that she needed to be more organized in her presentation of lecture materials.
