The general consensus was that professor Laverty had poor communication skills. The difficulty of the course material made it such that, while the professor knew his material, students were assumed to have a background in the history and context of the course material, which made it difficult to learn properly, since many of the students didnít have a history in the course. Students did commend him for always attending to studentsí questions, and his willingness to help them learn.

While most comments given praised Professor Kremer's teaching style, several students (some quite passionately) remarked that the material was very dry and that the course was far too difficult for a B-level class. A few students also noted that the lectures could have been better structured.

There was praise across the board for Professor Kremer and the course, with most of it resting on how his enthusiasm made the class enjoyable. Some felt that because of the large range of material covered, a list of required reading or background information would have been useful.
