Comments for this course were wildly polarized, with some students explaining that they enjoyed the class and the way it was taught and others saying that it was one of their least favourite courses at UTSC. For as many students that said Professor Bovaird was a caring teacher who took the time to answer questions and give positive feedback, there were just as many comments that stated that Professor Bovaird could have been more helpful. Most students agreed that Professor Bovaird was opinionated, but for as many people who enjoyed that, just as many hated it. There seemed to be little middle ground.

Students were satisfied with the practical focus of this course and most enjoyed the guest speaker though would have preferred to see more. Students also requested the inclusion of case studies into the course, though they did feel that direct and relevant examples from Professor Bovaird's own experiences were useful. Generally an enjoyable course, just one with the potential to be even better.
