Students found Professor Valko to be an incredibly nice and knowledgeable instructor. He provided thorough explanation and examples for this difficult course material. They appreciated his systematic and well-organized notes. An improvement most students suggested was that Professor Valko writes in a more legible manner on the blackboard and not pace too fast through the lectures.

Most students loved Professor Grinnell's teaching style and commented favourably on his enthusiasm and compassion. He was cited as 'best professor' in many of the evaluations. Professor Grinnell was always available for extra help and provided good examples to make difficult material easier to understand.

Overall students noted Professor Benedek Valko to be extremely knowledgeable, however students felt Professor Benedek's lectures to be fast paced and they expressed concerns with his writing on the chalkboard, as being illegible at times. Many students commended Professor Benedek Valko for making the course enjoyable, and addressing the concerns of students.

Many students felt the material for this course was naturally quite difficult and they did not feel especially supported by Professor Sastry, who they describe as a competent but uninspiring lecturer. A sizable portion of the class still had a good experience, however. Several note that the TAs were particularly weak.

Students were very pleased with Professor Grinnell and note that his lectures are clear, helpful, and easy to follow. Many appreciate his understated sense of humour in the classroom. Students were less pleased with their tutorial sections, led by TAs, and did not find them nearly as useful.

Students expressed that although lessons tended to be rushed, excellent examples were given during lectures and the lecture notes were both helpful and clear. It was mentioned that on some occasions, her control of class noise was lacking, so it is suggested that if you want to get the best experience, get a seat close to the front.
