Overall, students felt that Professor Binnick was an excellent instructor who communicated the course material with enthusiasm. Many students appreciated his knowledge and his willingness to share that knowledge with the class. They also acknowledged how helpful he was, and when students emailed him questions, he explained the answer to the question to the class as well. However, some students expressed a concern over the difficulty of course material. Overall, students commended Professor Binnick for providing them with an enjoyable classroom experience.

Students strongly feel they needed more examples in this course either during lectures or through the text and many report the text was not helpful or effective. Several felt that different assignments and a lack of part-marks for answers contributed to an unfair grading scheme. Some students did credit Professor Binnick with making himself exceptionally available, however, particularly via the internet.
