Students suggested that Professor Bejar be a bit more organized so that she does not run out of time during the scheduled lecture time. Students also suggested that she post lecture notes ahead of time. Generally, students found she functions well as an instructor.

Most students agreed that Deborah James is a great professor and that she is also extremely nice. Some found the lectures a little rushed. A few students found the midterm too long. In general students liked the feedback they received on exercises.

Most students clearly appreciated Professor James in this course and believe she made every effort to be sincere and approachable, even learning students. names as much as possible and making an effort to use them. Several students also note they found her lectures hard to follow at times, either because they were too fast or else too jumpy.

Students in this course found Professor James to be direct and organized in her approach to the material and expressed confidence in the grading process and the degree of feedback they received. Some students felt that the midterm was far too long but credited the instructor for addressing this problem after the fact in a way that was generally satisfactory.

Professor James expects specific responses for homework assignments. Several students found this unfair and critical. There was no clear outline for lectures which made it confusing for students. Lectures were thorough and well-prepared.
