Overall, students enjoyed Professor Al-Kasey’s lecturing style, incorporating different types of media in her teaching. However, some students felt that she spoke a little fast at times, and suggest that she slow down when speaking so that students could grasp the material a little more. Most students found the class to be a very beneficial introductory Spanish course.

According to one student, and perhaps this is the basis of other contradictory concerns, there was too wide a variation of ability in the class. Some felt the textbook was either insufficient or else not properly employed. Nevertheless, most students found this was a valuable course.
