Students found Prof. David Wand to be sincere, enthusiastic and approachable, however lacking in teaching skill and grading policy. Students felt that the course was interesting, yet dampened by disorganization. Students suggested that lectures could have been more structured, making use of examples, references and in-dept explanations. Students also suggested that assignments be graded and handed back before the midterm to allow reasonable time for feedback and discussion. It was also proposed that Statistics should be listed as a prerequisite, due to the major statistics portion of the course.
