Students thoroughly enjoyed this course and appreciated the enthusiasm of Professor Bender. This course is highly recommended to those with an interest in modern American politics. However, students would have appreciated further guidelines concerning their assignments.

Students enjoyed Professor Bender and felt motivated by his enthusiasm. Several note the work for this course was not distributed evenly and suggest that two papers should not be due around the same time. The tutorials were valuable and well employed to expand on lecture content.
