Students were generally appreciative of the instruction in this course, giving the instructor high marks for availability and approachability, while expressing concerns relating to his organization in the classroom and tendency to jump around between topics. Some students felt that the grading scheme, which included only two major papers and the final, did not accurately reflect understanding of the material.
