Students felt that the professor was very enthusiastic and passionate about the material. They found that the lectures were provocative and insightful, and also found the course in general to be very interesting. However, students would have liked for it to be broader in the area of coverage.

Many students enjoyed Professor Eksteins' lectures; they found him to be very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and appreciated that he used a variety of examples and definitions to help students better understand the course material.

Students almost unanimously agreed that Professor Eksteins was one of the most outstanding professors they have come across at UTSC. They also agreed he was highly organized, passionate, and a pleasure to have as a teacher. One suggestion students have for Professor Eksteins is to reconsider the marking scheme (50% of the final being an essay).

Professor Eksteins was thought by all to be an enjoyable and well organized lecturer. Many students noted that they did not like the fact that the essay was worth 50% while the mid-term was worth only 10%. Overall a good learning experience was has by all who commented.

Students appreciated the animation and enthusiasm of Professor Eksteins and were generally quite pleased with the value of the course. Some concerns were expressed about the grading scheme of the course, in which the midterm was worth only 10% and the final essay was worth 50% of the total grade.
