Overall, students found Professor Gervers to be a good and enthusiastic professor. They found his lectures useful and it helped them prepare for tests. However, most of the students found the tutorials were not beneficial and tutorials hard to follow. The students believed that the tutorials were weighted too heavily in terms of marks, and there was too much material to read for the course. Students suggested that an outline would help with the organization of notes, and they also recommend the professor to use a microphone.

Overall, students appreciated Professor Gervers' enthusiasm, approachability, and organization; they enjoyed the way in which he delivered his material. Nevertheless, students would have appreciated it had he incorporated visuals into his lectures and had he made the major assignment more concise.

Professor Gervers was described as enthusiastic and organized, although lectures tended to go off topic. Both the Professor and Teaching Assistant were both described as passionate about the material and attentive to student questions. Many students disliked the essay format, though appreciated the writing examples given as a class handout.

Students appreciated Professor Gervers' experience and dedication to his work and felt he contributed positively to their experience. The only common concern related to the volume of reading required which some students felt was excessive for the level of the course, though relevant and of value.
