Professor Pennington was described as expressing his thoughts clearly and very enthusiastic and interesting. However, many students felt that he spoke too quickly and that the weight of the tutorial was unfair. One student pointed out that his use of certain terms could be chosen better.

The word "amazing" was most frequently used to describe Professor Pennington. Students found that his enthusiastic style of teaching made the lecture material "anything but boring." Further, Professor Pennington's lectures were deemed to be valuable and well-organized. However, some respondents would have appreciated it had he lectured at a slower pace.
