Overall, students found Professor Iacovetta to be an exceptional instructor who lectured very clearly and kept students engaged in the material. Most students found that, because of her enthusiasm and informative lectures, the material was very interesting. They also enjoyed the movies, video clips and books chosen for the class. One suggestion students have for Professor Iacovetta is to speak slower to convey the material better.

Several students felt expectations were not clearly communicated and feedback was lacking on work they submitted. A few suggested a change in TA might alleviate problems.

Students in this class appreciated the instruction they received and focused on the grading and assignment of course work as being particularly fair and reasonable. Students particularly enjoyed approaching the subject matter of the course through two novels rather than through a conventional textbook.
