Many students who responded said they enjoyed the class and that Professor Rockel did an excellent job overall in his first time teaching the course. However, several commented that his expectations for assignments were broad at times, and should have been better explained. A few also suggested broadening the course to cover topics beyond colonialism and expressed a desire for more discussion following the viewing of films.

All who took the course found Professor Dowler to be an excellent Professor. The room the class was located in took away from the learning experience as the television was situated such that not everybody could see. The class was an overall great learning experience.
