Professor Bunce was praised as an effective instructor who explained concepts clearly. Her knowledge and approachability were noted by many students, though some noted that she needed more enthusiasm in class. Marking by TAs was found to be unfair at times, and many complained about the excessive readings in class. Overall, the professor was thought to be helpful and a good instructor for the course.

On the whole, students found it a good experience with a helpful and patient professor. Most often, students complained about lecture slides being posted late with little reference to the readings. Students often found Professor Bruce unenthusiastic about the course material and teaching in general. On a larger scale, Professor Bruce was organized and attentive to her students.

Students found Professor Hostovsky to be a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable professor. His sense of humour and use of examples from everyday life issues, kept the class engaged and broadened their spectrum of learning.

Students truly enjoyed this class due to Professor Relph's passion for the material and his ability to thoroughly explain course concepts. He provided many examples and detailed lecture notes. Moreover, the class assignments allowed for research and critical analysis, which many students enjoyed. Furthermore, students were happy that Professor Relph was always willing to answer questions during the class break, in his office hours, or via email.

Professor Forkes received very positive reviews from students. He was cited as being enthusiastic and was said to have encouraged a high level of class participation. He also used interesting statistics and examples. However, a few felt that the workload was high and that the material was difficult for a first-year course.

Many students found Professor Relph to be an amazing professor who showed a real passion and enthusiasm towards geography. Professor Relph had a great teaching style, utilized many useful examples, especially pictures and visuals in his well organized lectures. Students found this to be a fun and excellent course.

Students noted the Professor's enthusiasm for the material. The assignments were found by many to be confusing and ambiguous in what they were asking. The tutorials were helpful. Overall students felt that the material was enjoyable but lacked organization in its presentation.

Students enjoyed Professor Relph and found him to be an engaging and professional instructor. Many commented that the 8am lecture was a major detraction for the course but that Professor Relph made all he could of it. Some suggested that the TAs were inconsistent in their grading and approach to the tutorials and this contributed to some lack of parity in the course, perhaps due to insufficient supervision.

Student found this course to be very informative, interesting and thought provoking. Professor Relph was great and presented course material in a well organized manner. His detailed lecture notes and his willingness to stay after class and answer questions were appreciated.
