Students found Professor Beauquis to be enthusiastic and knowledgeable. They found the lecture outlines posted on the Intranet to be helpful. Some students felt that having the assignments posted on the Intranet early in the semester would be beneficial.

Overall students found Prof. Beauquis to be friendly and attentive to questions, but a large number of students would have preferred less historical background and more literary analysis than was actually given. A few students found the course more challenging than they had expected and there were a few complaints about the level of difficulty of the assignments.
