Many felt that Professor Wells was an extremely knowledgeable and approachable professor. His course was described as interesting and thought-provoking, while at the same time, adaptive to the different learning styles of the students. The evaluations were very helpful and the concepts in the course were easy to understand. However, several students pointed to the difficulty of the readings, which were remedied when the professor went through them in lecture. There was also a comment on the need for more stringency with regards to the student presentations in the seminar setting.
