Although students were positive about Professor Bennett personally they felt the class suffered from a lack of organization and focus. They suggested more structure and a tighter adherence to the planned readings. A number of students expressed either surprise or unhappiness regarding the degree of focus on poetry in the class, and felt that 'authors' implied novelists, which proved not to be the case.
