Students found Professor MacRae to be enthusiastic and engaging, and found his lectures to be informative and easy to follow. Students also felt that this course was a great introduction to Canadian Literature and other Canadian issues. Nonetheless, students would have appreciated it had he given equal attention to each short story.

Overall students were pleased with Professor Russell Brown's performance and commended on his enthusiasm in class. Many found his lectures interesting yet more organization is needed. Many students mentioned Professor Brown's use of class discussions to communicate ideas in class. However there were mixed reviews on these discussions as some found that too much time was spent on class discussions and not enough time was spent on the lectures themselves. Others found them helpful and engaging.

Students thought that Sol was an enthusiastic professor; his love for the material was evident in his lectures. He kept the class focused and was very approachable. The students felt that this class had a lot of reading in it.
