Many students appreciated Professor Biggs' enthusiasm. Despite this course's heavy workload, and the difficult nature of the material, students felt that the professor conveyed concepts in a comprehensive manner. Moreover, Professor Biggs was also found to be very helpful during his office hours. Furthermore, many students recommended this course to others.

Students enjoy Professor Price's lectures and those who have become used to him say they find him very effective, but others complain his material is not organized and so much is covered verbally they have a hard time keeping up. Some suggest prepared notes of some sort, either on-line or otherwise, to address this. Nevertheless, when lecturing, Professor Price is interesting and engaging. Several students note their TA, Jen, was outstanding.

Students in this course felt that the material was at times disorganized but that Professor Price is a qualified and able instructor nonetheless. Some expressed the opinion that work in the tutorials might be worth more and made various suggestions aimed at adding more structure to the course.

The professor moves at a quick pace in this course, Students emphasized that organising your notes properly is a necessity. The midterm is challenging, but the enthusiasm of the professor keeps students motivated to learn. Even though it is not required, calculus at some level will help with course understanding. The professor keeps hydrology from being a ""dry subject"".

Students in this course described Price as passionate about the course content. They also liked his style of teaching. They did mention however, that his lectures were unstructured, making it difficult to take notes. Students who took this course mentioned stated there was a lot of material to cover and the lectures moved fast.
