While several students who responded mentioned that Professor Ng was a nice instructor, who clearly understood the material that was being taught, many also said that he had a very hard time explaining material to the students clearly, whether it be through notes or presentations. Several also said that the class was made harder by his teaching style which lacked enthusiasm.

Professor Ng was noted as an intelligent and eager professor. However, students noted lectures to be not of great value and that effective communication during lectures was lacking. Students cited office hours to be very helpful and a great means in succeeding within the course.

Students generally liked the course and commented that the concepts were not extremely difficult. A few said that the professor needs to speak louder to make sure everyone can hear and understand what is being said.

Students found Professor Ng to be a very straight forward lecturer who stayed on track and provided excellent notes. Most found him to be a nice guy and very good one on one.

Professor Ng while a caring Professor was not a very effective communicator. Students found that they were not getting a lot of value out of the lectures. Students found him a lot better one on one during his office hours than in front of a class. More and better examples need to be used.
