Overall, felt that Professor Sillamaa was a very knowledgeable instructor and willing to share her knowledge of economics with class through clear and precise lecturing. Students felt that her notes were well-written and clear to follow, which added to the fact that she was very helpful and willing to provide assistance to students who ask. Some students, however, felt that the weekly tests were sometimes a burden, and tested more on calculus knowledge rather than economics. One suggestion students have Professor Sillamaa is to provide more sample questions so students could practice their calculus skills. |

Students enjoyed attending lectures due to the high degree of enthusiasm Professor Parker displayed in class. They enjoyed his sense of humour and the examples that he provided and credit him with their high level of amusement during lectures. Professor Parker was described as being very knowledgeable and always helpful but slow in answering emails. Students would also appreciate more organized lecture notes and felt that the class would be easier to follow if printouts were provided beforehand. Tutorials were determined to be an essential component of the course and students would like them to be incorporated as a permanent part of this class. |

Students found Professor Parker's enthusiasm for the material to be contagious. Many benefited from the analogies he provided them to assist with the understanding of the concepts presented during lectures. Students however were unhappy with the textbook and found it to be dense and difficult to understand. They would like class notes to be provided as Powerpoint slides in order to increase the organization of lectures. They felt that the Intranet should be used more frequently to remind them of deadlines and as a means of communication. Harder examples were suggested to better prepare students for the second midterm which was determined to be significantly more difficult than the first. |

Most students appreciated the extra hour (4 lecture hours per week as opposed to three) to allow the professor to go through more examples. They generally commend this professor on holding convenient and consistent office hours. While there is generally positive feedback about the Economic Naturalist Project, some feel that it is too time-consuming given the rest of the workload in the course. |

Professor Krashinsky was a very dedicated and motivated professor, truly devoting himself to making the learning experience effective. The exams were fair in terms of material covered and level of difficulty, however, students felt that insufficient time was given. |
